Monuments of Elephants were built by Napoleon to comemorate great victories. After the fall of Napoleon, these statues remained in towns around Europe to be forgotten and decay. Gavroche the street urchin finds two lost children in the streets who return with him to his Hollow elephant monument hideout only to find the police are on the trail.
